  • South Korea experiences four distinct seasons:

  • Most travelers can enter South Korea visa-free, but some nationalities must obtain a Korea Electronic Travel Authorization (K-ETA) before arrival.

    Visa-Free Entry:

    Nationals from 22 countries, including the USA, UK, EU member states, Canada, and Japan, can enter South Korea visa-free for up to 90 dayswithout needing a K-ETA until December 31, 2025.

    K-ETA Requirement:

    For other visa-exempt travelers, a K-ETA is required before boarding your flight. The K-ETA is valid for multiple entries over two years and allows stays of up to 90 days for tourism, business, or family visits.

    Requirements:

    • Passport Validity: Must be valid for at least six months beyond your stay.

    • Proof of Onward Travel: May be required upon entry.
